Divorce is the last stage of a marriage breakdown. A once happy union between two love birds finally hitting the lowest lows. Once cannot even reconcile the good old times with how bad things have gone and it can be a very difficult thing to deal with. Even though it is the two people ending their once blissful union, it usually is worse for one party much more than the other. So how can one handle the emotional pain of a divorce?

The solution to every problem in the world is in the word of God. The thing is that most people prefer sourcing for help elsewhere that the word of God. The fear of being alone, the fear of even trusting again, the fear of whatever abuse that was experienced in the divorce can be some fears divorce brings with it along with the other pains and heartbreaks. However regardless of the King of pain a person faces Gods word of comfort and help are not far away.

Take a look at this scripture, Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (Hebrews13:5 KJV)

Let us look at this scripture again using the Amplified Version.

Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] (Hebrews13:5 AMP)

Wow. He even had to repeat some of those words to instill his words and promises into the heart of the one who receives them. God says no matter how bad things have opened up around you, you can count on my ever abiding presence. I will not leave you, there will never be a point where you now discover that you are now all alone and by yourself.

You can go through the process trusting that God will never leave you. Beyond just the pain of the separation, you can also trust God to guide you into the next stage of your life. You can trust him to guide him into the next relationship – if there is a possibility of that. You don’t have to be afraid, you don’t have to be paranoid wondering what is ahead. God says I will be with you, I will never forsake you or let you all by yourself. You can trust him, he does not fail.
